I liked it very much. Yes, there's some pretty silly stuff involved, but if you can accept that Indiana Jones is able to be dragged through the desert at 50 MPH by his bullwhip, (without ripping his pants) leap up, take over the vehicle, get shot, take enough punishment to hospitalize Mike Tyson, then stow away on top of a Nazi submarine with nobody noticing, and all the other clearly impossible comic-book derring do that he did in the first film, then you can accept that he can jump into a "lead lined" heavy-ass insulated `50s refrigerator, get tossed a mile by the blast wave of a nuke and walk away. What appealed to me was the fact that he was a genuinely older, steadier and more tired Indy - and yet still a consummate badass, even if he wasn't as fast as he used to be. It was entertaining. And you got a MILF Karen Allen.
It worked for me.
