Other stories?

What is The Three Challenges of Zona that has hit my eye somewhere (in guest book)?

Who's this, and does she have comic or other story yet?

The Three Challenges Of Zona is an XXX-rated find-your-path book that I wrote and illustrated back in the Stone Age - 1990. ( Believe me, it is really a bitch having to grind up the charcoal yourself and spit it onto the cave wall to make the images.) It was self-published and modelled after the many numbered-paragraph solo adventure books that were popular about that time, just before PC-based games made them obsolete. It was explicitly sexual and was intended to be a send-up of the RE Howard/ER Burroughs pulp that practically jump-started the genre. Zona's character is barely recognizable in that, her first incarnation, and though muscular and mammose, she isn't the giant that she became in the second book, Zona And the Children Of The Moon. That is the first adventure that she and Tula shared, where they are transported to Luna - The Moon - and have to deal with the strange races, monsters and magick of that world before they can return to Erogenia. I have kept many - though not all - of the events of those two books as well as those of the module in the gaming supplement The Vacationer's Guide To Erogenia as back-story for the present continuity.

R.A.G.E. 59 is the central character in an unsold screenplay I wrote awhile back. She exists in a future world where genetic slaves are created - "spinoffs" - not unlike Bladerunner. Unfortunately for her and fortunately for the story, though she's supposed to be born with an underdeveloped brain, there is a spontaneous mutation that makes her defective - she's normally intelligent. Action, adventure and romance ensue.

You mean, a paper book? Is it and Children of the Moon still available somewhere? At least Amazon.com and ebay.com don't get match...

I'm not sure what that means... unsold screenplay that is. Will there be comic/story of it sometime?

What other comics/stories have you done?

It was sold exclusively at gaming conventions and through mail-order. Both are out of print, though I have a few stray copies lying around. I just want to emphasize that they were pornography. Happy porn, as in having a plot and some attempt at characterization and no gratuitous misogyny, but porn nonetheless, and the characters, though generally the same, have grown and matured considerably in the intervening time.

R.A.G.E. is a screenplay that I shopped the treatment around and no one wanted it. That's what an unsold screenplay is - something nobody's willing to put money into. I wish I had time to turn her into a comic - it's a pretty good story. Violence, friendship, love, laser blasts, explosions and spaceships with huge nuclear fires spouting out their nozzles - fun happy horseshit. Unfortunately, between my day job, Zona and the novel I'm supposed to be working on, there's just not enough hours in the day.

This is the only comic I have ever put on the web. I wrote a superhero screenplay with my friend Dino - who now runs soulgeek.com - and we managed to get quite a few thousand in options out of the gentleman who wanted to produce it. As often happens, the thing was never put on film, but we still got paid pretty well for it. I have written reviews, I've written and directed historical plays locally and a wrote and produced an audio fantasy that likewise never went anywhere because no one wanted to buy a book on tape that was original story and characters no one had ever heard of with mostly amateur voice actors. I will say we had a couple of outstanding pros in major roles, and the thing was entertaining, but uneven.

Anyway, that's the high points of my curriculum vitae for this evening. :)

I have nothing against porn, and I have enough age by what ever laws, and credit card too

Seriously, how many pages in those books, are they colour, and how much do you want for them? Some reviews and scans would be nice too, if there are any in WWW. Your Web comic really got my attention, and I'd like to see more adventures of Zona :)

[edit]
Have you considered to digitalize those books and upload to WWW?

That RAGE 59 concept seems like it may work for a decent video game.

The Vacationer's Guide To Erogenia...

sounds like something you'd see next to "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"

or maybe it's a chapter in it...or a section as it would have chapters in itself.

hmmm.

I'm betting that'll be some exposition aimed at Mentl (and us) later on. Perhaps it'll be our good Impola who deals out the details.
