Other Web comics

The Challenges Of Zona is among best Web comics yet. Are there other Web comics of that caliber? Share your info!

Outsider
This is best Web comic I've read yet! But then, I prefer sci-fi, so fantasy fans may easily rank Zona above this. Anyways there is this big galactic war going on, and humans send scout starships to get some intel about the two major players of the war in order to determine which one to join with if it ever comes to that. One ship got lucky and found major space battle going on. Too bad, they became target themself. There is only one survivor, 2nd class ensign, who gets picked up by... you'd better see that from comic itself.

Gun Baby
This isn't neither sci-fi nor fantasy. It's all about war in fictional continent, or in fictional world. Anyways one nation is believed to constructing WMDs, and other nation makes heavy pre-emptive air raid against those facilities. Nature of WMD isn't explained (yet), and only few people seems to know what really is going on. Technology seems to be at level of Earth's 1960's (just a guess), that includes both jet and propeller powered combat aircrafts.

Gone with the Blastwave
Another war comic, but this time in post apocalyptic city. This is what you could expect from page length comic in newspaper: every page works as individual story itself, but some continuation exists. Graphics and plot may not be as epic and great as the other two and Zona, but this is FUN! I guarantee there are more than one page you can LOL at!

This forum don't seem to like heavy graphics :x

I think you may like Pinky TA.

It's about war, alternate history, and a bit of TA.
I like Zona a lot better though.

Girl Genius - beautiful artwork, incredible plot and characters. A steampunk comic if there ever was one. JE has it in his Links section along with Crimson Dark.

Try also Fifine - interesting concept - a world where humanity has disappeared and animals have evolved to tale on human characteristics. Stars a Foxy heroine - literally. http://fifine.purrsia.com/COMICS.html

Ask Dr. Eldritch - very bizarre to say the least. Not even a true comic the author uses dolls and photographs them against backgrounds. Very funny with very strange humour and social commentary.http://www.askdreldritch.com/comic.html

Goblins - complex story of a bunch of goblins who get tired of being cannon fodder for heroes in RP game. Interesting social commentary carried along by a bunch of unlikely heroes.http://goblinscomic.com/

Wayfarer's Moon - Medieval fantasy - well drawn with interesting central characters. http://www.wayfarersmoon.com/

Shadowgirls - good art, mysterious plot. Demon possession anyone? http://www.shadowgirlscomic.com/http:// ... comic.com/

There are a number of others that I follow, but these are the most regularly updated.

Just thought of a few more.

Last Warring Angel.
http://www.webcomicsnation.com/cinemaco ... series.php Modern day angel forced to fight the forces of evil forever due to past sins. Well drawn with lots of action and some romantic content. This strip was actually completed, but is now being reissued in upgraded format.

A Miracle of Science
http://www.project-apollo.net/mos/ Interesting Sci-Fi adventure about mad scientists and an Earthman who teams up with a sexy Martian to hunt them down. This series is finished and the authors are currently on to other projects.

Just thought of another comic site. It is not a true web comic as it is on an artistic site called Deviant Art, but the black and white drawings of this artist are truly amazing. Warning - the site shows nudity and women in bondage. There is no rape depicted, but there is lots of nudity. The series of black and white ink drawings is now up to over 200 pictures, each one a work of art. It is an adult site and you will have to register if you want to view everything.

Start with the series called Rats in the Cellar and go from there.

I could honestly could put right here and now , over 100 mangas or Japanese/Korean style comics . yep serious fan boy over here, but i will keep it to just five. Not necessarily in order of faves .

1)Naruto - A true classic . (I actually am reading this now. The hype around it is well deserved.) loyalty , love , loss , betrayal , plots , grandiose villains and one hell of an amazing story.

2) Rosario +vampire .( I actually like the amine and that got me hooked on the manga or comic. whilst the anmie is lighter then manga has a much darker tone at times). A normal boy ends up in a school for monsters and ends up with quite a few falling in love with him. lots of fan service here, but don't be fooled into thinking all is light and sweet cause it isnt.

3)History's strongest disciple kenichi . This is another one of those classics, that pulls you in straight away as a weak guy tries to become strong in the dojo from hell. This is one funny comic interspersed with lots of great action as well.

4)Karin or chibi vampire. Really really really good , bring the hankies. love story with vampire and Human

5) Elfen lied .Beware this is one disturbing comic that really leaves you thinkin . there is nudity and gore , but its a tour de force , that you just don't forget.

Right, I like Lana. A little risque, but written with tongue-in-cheek.
