Uh, hi everyone this is Someguy, been reading for awhile you can see me from time to time in the comments and I was just wondering if there was any other way to get an avatar besides signing up for gravatar. So I figured I'd register for the forums and see if anyone could tell me.

I am very sorry, but I think that's all that's supported. What do you find that you don't like about it?

Well I'm just a little uncomfortable about giving my information to gravatar. Can't really say why and maybe I'm being silly. Also I get the idea that once you have a gravatar you have the same avatar in every comment board they serve and well. I just think I would want different avatars for different boards. I know that the dream land chronicles have a feature where you can also sign up in their forums for a comic specific avatar which I think is nice. He also has this program that randomly assigns avatars to certain email addresses. Though I have no idea how much work that would be to set up (probably a lot).
