somebody asked about prevous VOTE Incentives and how they might get to see them.

Well, being a fair-minded fellow, and also noticing how the Forum seems to be fading a bit, I thought I'd start posting a few of them here on this thread.

Also, I just finished "Feet Of Clay" by Terry Pratchett. Fucking brilliant, most of the DiscWorld books are. Anyone got a favorite that I haven't read? I'm about halfway through the current series.

Anyway, here's a couple of the previous Vote Incentives...

All the Watch novels are decent. Going Postal and Making Money are good, too - the adventures of a con man who becomes Master of the Ankh-Morpork Post Office and Mint...

Wow. Sometimes I still can't quite get over the fact that Tula's pants open up on the top, almost like someone sewed in an open zipper ju-u-u-ust enough to cover.

Well done, Mr. Draft. Well done.

I can't take credit for that design. It's by the very talented artist Aery Soul.http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/shop/itemdetails/-/?item=2001

Now, naturally, it looks a bit different on Tula than on his anorexic elf-maidens, so I'll happily take credit for Tula's design. Me? Don't care for stick insects with basketballs glued to their torsos. Don't get me wrong: There's plenty of room for all kinds of fantasies - especially over-generously proportioned chests. I just like the overall package to be a bit ... healthier-looking. :D

Here's one that I just pulled up from the buckets of tests that was kinda cool. No postwork, just as she was originally rendered.

Just don't stop. Practice and constant, conscious improvement, etc. Remember, a lot of what I do is more art and production design and puppetry than 'drawing.' Still, I'm not without a little talent and training in that area - to wit, a pencil study of Zona from the rear. And yes, this was an incentive some time ago:

And there's this, as well, in pen and ink, from "The Vacationer's Guide To Erogenia":

...psssst.

There's an error on the latest one of Mentl: The right side of his tunic, as he's wearing it, is just hanging there with no support.

Top notch bro. As good as anything on today's fantasy paperback covers, and better than many. And it's certainly not just the new software. Composition and balance are excellent. Each pictures tells a story. A real pleasure!

But... fantasy covers always have at least one woman who is least half-nekkid... oh, I get it. Right, right, good work.

Corset and Fishnets

Postby JEDraft on Thu Aug 07, 2008 6:17 am

As you folks have seen, I sometimes play "dress-up" with my characters. (Hey - I'm the artist, right? I'm god, me!)

So I made a wee sketch of my muscular heroine in something classically feminine. Didn't quite know where to put it on the site, so here you all are.
